In support of my book, “Elemental Witchcraft: A Guide to Living a Magickal Life Through the Elements,” (Llewellyn 2021) I’m teaching an introductory course on-line, available to everyone. This offering is my return to the witching classroom after a 3 year hiatus, and my first foray into teaching on-line! I invite anyone who is interested to join our facebook group called The Pentacle Path of Elemental Witchcraft Training with Heron Michelle. In this group I share more resources and answer questions. It’s also a handy way to meet other witches for friendship and support along the way.
The class events will be livestreamed from the Facebook group on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm Eastern, from August 18 through September 29th, 2022. First join the group, then click “going” to the class events, so that you’ll be notified when the livestream begins. I welcome you to comment, and ask questions during the class. The videos are saved there for later viewing, and also uploaded to my YouTube channel, Heron Michelle, for our friends who choose not to Facebook (very wise of them!)
Cost? Sliding Scale Love Donations
Rather than charging a flat-fee for access to this content, I’m asking for love donations on a sliding scale of $5 to $15 per class. If that is a hardship for you just pay it forward in some other way. Donations can be made to The Sojourner’s Paypal and Venmo accounts.
My larger goal for this introduction to The Pentacle Path is the hope that this form of Hermetic Witchcraft based in Divine Love will be better understood. I think witches can nudge the arc of human evolution back into harmony with nature, and in cooperation with each other, to build a more just and enjoyable world for everyone. Best yet, it is radically inclusive of all people, and seeks to balance our unity in Spirit with our diversity in the middle world.

Chapter 4: Astrological Timing and the Great Work of Magick

Introducing the Pentacle Path system’s approach to the Great Work of magick and auspicious timing through astrology, with an overview of the Wheel of the Year’s cycles: stellar, solar, elemental and lunar, and how their interlocking tides bring balance to the practitioner.
Intro to Section 2: Elemental Magick, and Chapter 5: Elemental Basics

Now we get into Section 2, with a dive into the basics of the elemental forces of nature as Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Ether/Spirit and the history of where this wisdom came from; discussing the four sacred directions, and the pentacle as the Witch’s star and a symbol of the Golden ratio. Then we’ll map the elements within the three worlds.
Chapter 6: The Witch’s Jewel of Power

Introducing the history of the four magickal maxims known as the “Sphinx of the Magus”: to know, to will, to dare and to be silent. These maxims describe the projective lessons of the four alchemical elements of earth, air, water, and fire. Within Wicca, they became the foundation stones of a new symbol: the Witch’s Pyramid. That pyramid would be crowned with the mysteries of Spirit and a new maxim: the Wiccan Rede. But that is only half the story! This chapter presents a newly integrated symbol as the Octahedron, a bipyramid, embodying the receptive lessons of the Goddess, and at last revealing her missing maxim as the two keys to the temple of witchcraft: Perfect Love and Trust.
Chapter 7: Energy Body and the Pentacle Self

In this lesson we move into the practical means by which the elemental forces intersect to cast our five-fold selves into form: physical, mental, emotional, will and spiritual. Introducing the Pentacle Path to balance: A Five-Pointed Plan which interlaces the wisdom of the east and magick of the west; includes an overview of our auras and chakras; how we open the channel for ease, wholeness and empowerment.
