Church: “Please Take Our Baby Jesus”

This is fascinating. At least to me.

Most churches are worried that theives or pranksters will come by and steal the baby Jesus from their nativity scene.

This church, however, encourages people to take the baby Jesus because they “didn’t want to be found nailing Jesus down or tying him to an anchor or putting him on a chain.”

The pastor adds, “Christ is a gift. He doesn’t belong to us and so you can’t steal him from us, but he’s a gift from God.”

Regardless of what you think of the ornament idea,  just for the interview alone somebody needs to find this pastor and give him the award for best Christmas sermon ever.
