Awaken the dawn

“Let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3)

It’s not enough to know about him. It’s not enough to live an outwardly holy life that’s good enough to con most people. That hunger in our hearts is a longing for communion with Him. Lets pursue his presence.

Jesus said, “..out of your souls will flow rivers of living water.” We need to be drinking in the truth of His Word, and eating the deep depths of His Word as well.

If we are Not in the Word, then there is no possible way to know Christ, nor God. No way. And we need to eat the Word, and consume it into our souls and spirits and minds. Like you say, “to live an outwardly holy” way is a waste of time.

have a great week in our Lord’s love and be filled with His joy and peace. We have a hurricane to deal with over here across the Pond as they say.
