How Did I Decorate My House?

I’m embarrassed that it took me so long to respond to some of your questions.  Back when Life’s a Tripp was showing on Lifetime, many of you asked where I got the cool art I had in my new house.  Well, it’s a little late, but I got them at Hobby Lobby.  Do you guys have those stores where you live?  Sadly, we don’t have one in Alaska, but I used to go to the one in Arizona which had such cool stuff!

If you have one in your hometown, please spend lots of money there.  In case you haven’t heard, Hobby Lobby CEO David Green is a wonderful Christian man.  Also, he is suing the government because Obamacare is making them provide contraception to their employees:

The mandate requires businesses and organizations, with some exceptions, to provide access to contraception coverage — Hobby Lobby was most concerned about coverage for the morning-after pill, which some consider tantamount to an abortion-causing drug. Hobby Lobby has refused to comply, while saying the fines could add up to $1.3 million a day.

I wish the best to them in their lawsuit.  And in the meantime, shop at Hobby Lobby!

I love Hobby Lobby; they have lots of cool stuff! I’m glad that David Green is standing for his Christian beliefs. Cuz the way the government is treating Hobby Lobby is not right; it’s not the American way. This is a free country and they should be able to respect Hobby Lobby’s decision. I wish David Green the best in the lawsuit.

I’m glad that David Green is suing the Obama administration for that travesty otherwise known as Obamacare. No business, whether Christian or secular, should be forced to comply with a “healthcare” law like that.

I shop there even though I don’t agree with their lawsuit. Frankly it’s just stupid.
It’s a proven fact that access to birth control is the most effective way to reduce abortions. So I believe it is a lie that that is their motive.
The money they pay their employees in their paychecks goes to pay for birth control, abortions and any number of things they don’t agree with. Are they going to start trying to control what their employees buy next?
It’s all just a scam to avoid taking care of their employees. It’s not a church, it is a business and all employees should be treated the same as all employees at other businesses.

If they truly wanted to reduce abortions then they would gladly cover it. That is not their intention here.

Please spend lots of money there? Are you for real? And just because he is a christian that doesn’t give him the right to cram his believes down his employees throats. What if he was a seventh day adventist. Should he be able to deny an employee coverage if they need a blood transfusion? Wow, americans are nuts.

David was one of my supervisor’s when I worked at McClellan variety store in Altus, Oklahoma early 60′s. I was not a Christian but it was evident that he was, Wish we had a Hobby Lobby in Anchorage.

I like Hobby Lobby Stores because they have Bob Ross Products and other Art supplies.
But I live about 100 miles from their store so I do not go very often.
Once I made a special trip just to go to Hobby Lobby.
I like to just browse through their store – they have lots of good products.
