When Carrie Underwood won American Idol, she went from small-town Oklahoma girl to one of the biggest country stars, literally, overnight. She loves this amazing country and tweeted to her fans in celebration of the 4th of July:

Carrie also secretly wrote a song, “Keep Us Safe,” specifically for her performance for ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops. She said the song was written with our soldiers and their families in mind.
