What this feminist blog said about Mike Pence’s dog dying is horrible

It’s no secret that I abhor the website Gawker (see: Top 7 Lies on Gawker about the Palin Family: B-Bye!!) but it never ceases to amaze me the depths to which they’ll sink to mock conservatives, their families, and now… their pets?

That’s right! Jezebel mocked the death of Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence’s dog, Maverick. Check out this horribly worded headline:

And here’s the opening paragraph:

Tragedy has befallen the Trump-Pence campaign, which was already struggling, and it comes in the form of that tiny, pup-sized grim reaper who comes for all doggies eventually.

And then Jezebel posted the sad tweet from the Pence family about their beloved dog and pretended to sympathize them. But the damage was done. Their little blog post was really sickening, and everybody knows it, as HeatStreet pointed out. There weren’t just a few people bothered by Jezebel’s inhumanity, conservative and liberal alike. Everyone on Twitter was wondering, “What is wrong with these people?”

I’ll tell you what is wrong with these people: they are intolerant leftists who are cruel and uncaring of anyone who doesn’t think like them. The kind of people that would stoop so low, that even the death of a family pet isn’t off limits if it means getting a jab in on a conservative. Shame on them!

We love you, Mike Pence! And know we are sad for the loss of your 13-year-old beagle, Maverick.
