3. The governor sent Trump a not-so-subtle “F-you” wrapped in southern charm on Twitter
If you’ve ever been in the south, you’ve probably heard the phrase, “Bless your/his/her heart.” Well, that can have two very different meanings depending on how it’s said. If someone is going through a rough patch, a southerner might comfort them by saying, “Well, bless your heart.” But if someone is rude or obnoxious, “Bless your heart” takes on a whole new meaning and is generally accepted as the world’s most polite middle finger. I’ll let you determine which context fits Haley’s best:
