The White House Just Did Something to Honor Police that Obama Refused to Do

To honor National Police Week, President Trump just did something that his predecessor, Police-Hater-in-Chief Barack Obama refused to do: he lit up the White House in blue lights to recognize law enforcement officers.  

But that’s not all he did.  On Monday, Trump spoke to the families of fallen officers.  He also signed a proclamation creating stiffer penalties against those who commit violence against police.

“Every drop of blood spilled from our heroes in blue is a wound inflicted upon the whole country,” he said. “And every heartache known by your families in law enforcement is a sorrow shared by the entire family of the American nation.”

Obama couldn’t be bothered to do this, but he did managed to do this to celebrate the Supreme Court decision legalizing same sex marriage in all 50 states:
