Early Buzz for PregMANcy (and a free book offer)

Early Buzz for PregMANcy (and a free book offer) December 30, 2011

I’m getting seriously excited about the release of my memoir, PregMANcy: A Dad, a Little Dude and a Due Date, coming in February. First off, we’re looking for bloggers interested in reading the book for a possible review. If you’re down, email me and let me know a few things like:

*Your audience and estimated reach;
*Preference for hard copy or eBook (keeping in mind eBooks save us tons of money!);
*If you have other outlets you want to exploit for interviews like a magazine, podcast, radio show, etc, and;
*If you have other folks you’d recommend I contact.

Here are some of the early endorsements the book has garnered:

“Not only does PregMANcy chronicle a crucial piece of Christian Piatt’s personal history, but it also guides us in the transforming role of fathers in our society. With the cultural acuity of Chuck Klosterman and the spiritual vulnerability of Anne Lamott, Piatt points to a dad’s great capacity to juggle, love, and fret. He has the unique ability to lead us into a deep exploration of the emotional and physical discharges of life, and keep us laughing as we come up out of it.”

Carol Howard Merritt, author of Tribal Church

“I have certain expectations when I start a book by Christian Piatt: that it will be hilarious, thoughtful, and a little bit rebellious. PregMANcy fulfills those expectations and then some. Piatt is an excellent writer and an even better dad, and this is as engaging a fatherhood book as I’ve ever read.”

Jason Boyett, author of O Me of Little Faith and the Pocket Guide series of books

“Capturing the beauty and messiness of parenthood, Christian Piatt takes readers on a laugh-out-loud journey from conception through the birth of his second child. A wonderful mix of comedy, reality, fear and joy, PregMANcy: A Dad, A Little Dude, and a Due Date is an honest, real look into the mind and hearts of new fathers. This book isn’t just for dads, either. Moms and any parents-to-be will also love this book because it’s packed with stories that hit the raw and funny places where we all really live.”

Kathy Escobar, author of Down We Go: Living into the Wild Ways of Jesus.

“PregMANcy is a funny, charming, intelligent memoir. With honest hilarity, Christian Piatt’s journey toward baby number two will delight and encourage dads and moms of all varieties.”

Matthew Paul Turner, author of Churched
