  1. “Stay glad.” The hardest one of all, and the holiest.

  2. flatrocker says:

Always amazes how beauty resides in simplicity

  3. Beautifully put!

  4. A committed socialist and atheist, the list shows a life with nothing set aside for God. I also remember reading he was against the war as long as russia pact with Nazi Germany was solid, but called for winning the war when socialist russia was attacked as were many socialist in this country. In all, a pretty sad life.

  5. pagansister says:

Great List—-many of the resolutions could be applied to today. Woody was unique and musically talented. Mark, he had a hard life, ending with death from Huntington’s disease, inherited from his mother. Before he died, he wrote some wonderful songs which have stood the test of time, such as “This Land Is Your Land”. (one of my favorite songs celebrating this country). So just because he didn’t write the words “time for God” doesn’t mean he had no relationsip or spiritual life.

  6. pagansister says:

OOPS! correction—”—–doesn’t mean he had no relationship with a higher power or spiritual life”.
