Is Donald Trump the Antichrist?

While Democrats and progressive Christians alike argue that President Trump is the embodiment of evil, others are drawing eerie connections between POTUS and the Antichrist.  Sure, this is nothing new.  Many people believed the same thing about President Obama and have believed – and will continue to believe — that about many U.S. Presidents.

But, The Christian Post, which is the world’s largest American Christian publication, just released a bold article by it’s most-read author, Eric Sapp, making the case for why President Trump matches the description of “Antichrist.”

It’s true, Trump was born under the very rare eclipse that turns the moon to blood and that his family’s new 666 foot tall building built adjoining their $666 million development was brought with profits from their flagship 666 Fifth Avenue skyscraper.

However, Sapp argues these allegorical signs distract from the Biblical apocalyptic warnings of the behaviors and attitudes that define “Antichrist” which should concern most Americans.

For example, Sapp writes, “[a]ll the Biblical authors are clear that “the antichrists, the beast, the son of perdition” are most clearly known by their rejection of Christ. Is there a more fundamental rejection of Christ than to say that you alone are not in need of God’s forgiveness? Cursing Christ at least acknowledges his significance — but denying the need for grace and forgiveness dismisses the necessity and efficacy of Christ’s sacrifice and the foundation of all we believe.”
