Under the Ancient Oaks – The Video Series

Under the Ancient Oaks – The Video Series June 26, 2017

I’m starting a new series of short videos on topics of interest to Pagans and polytheists. In this first video I discuss the assumptions people make when it comes to religion, and how the assumptions of other religions can make their way into our Paganism. I also touch on The Path of Paganism, and the places I’ll be speaking in the coming months.

I’ve got three more videos in the works – I expect them to come out about once a month. If they go over well, I’ll make more.

Upcoming Appearances

This is a very brief introduction to the assumptions of religion, and our need to challenge them. I’ll be speaking on this topic in a one-hour workshop at three different events over the coming months.

Future videos

This project started with a need to make a video to support The Path of Paganism. Most people do that with a “book trailer” – just like a movie trailer, only for a book. I’ve seen them and some of them are pretty good. But I wasn’t doing a crowdfunding campaign for a future book, or even trying to build interest ahead of time. The book is already out. I wanted to give people something that would stand on its own, but would tie into the book, my speaking engagements, and the blog. What you see here is the end result.

I’m making this up as I go… or as the Awen flows. I have three more videos in the works. The July video will be on Land Spirits. Beyond that, well, wait and see. If they go over well, and if they remain as fun and interesting to make as this one, I’ll make them a regular monthly feature.

So let me know what you think!
