Kerry Weber Remembers Rwanda 20 Years Later in “Shadowed by Tragedy”

Twenty years ago today, the Rwandan genocide began, taking the lives of approximately 800,000 souls — my friend Kerry Weber has a special article today at America Magazine which recaps much of what we saw and learned on our trip with Catholic Relief Services. Be sure to click through and view the many photo galleries that paint a vibrant portrait of life today in Rwanda.

Today is a day to pause, to pray for continuing reconcilation, and to say, “Never Again”.
