HUGE CHRISTMAS SALE ON MY BOOK FOR KINDLE

My publisher just put a huge discount on Amazon for my book on Kindle, lasting the whole week after Christmas! So for you new (and veteran) Kindle owners after Christmas, my book is

now only $2.99!!!

You can buy it here.

Read the Introduction to my award winning book for free here.

Thank you to everyone who has bought, read and passed along my book over the last two years. The stories we continue to receive about the impact the book has had over the last two and a half years, have been quite overwhelming. I believe my book is on its 9th printing and about 50,000 copies sold in the different formats… which is amazing to think about when I didn’t even know if anyone would read my book in my first place. And once again, 100% of the profits from my book go directly to support the work of The Marin Foundation.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Much love. And have a great Christmas!

When does the sale start? I don’t see that price yet.

I would love to pick up a discount copy, however I am having the same issue as Leslie. Any news when this will happen?

    Hi Leslie and Joe!

After your comments I do see that it is not $2.99. I was told by my publisher that it would be $2.99 all week… So I’m going to call them in the morning and see what’s up! Thanks for the heads up on this. I’ll let you know the update once I find out. Much love! :)

It was $2.99 for a few days before Christmas. I actually was about to gift a few copies out to folks.

Here we go. I facebooked it to my friends to try to encourage them to buy a copy. It was on sale on December 22 & 23 for $2.99.

On a sidenote, for a really good steal, Amazon has on sale today Washed & Waiting by Wesley Hill who is a fellow gay but coming from the conservative end of things for $1.99. This is a really good book to illustrate the struggles of being gay from the conservative side of things. He is a bit young, but expresses himself very well in the book. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the heads up Ben. I’ve read the book and it is a decent read. It isn’t on sale or anything, but another incredible book is A Bigger World Yet by Tim Timmerman. Best book that I have read by far regarding the subject, however hasn’t had the publicity that the Hill book has had.

Hey there folks that commented… I called my publisher and they said that the timing for the sale got screwed up, and my book was on sale for $2.99 the week before Christmas, not the week after. I don’t really understand the logic behind that, but oh well. So, here’s what I’m going to do. Email me (andrew@themarinfoundation.org) and let me know if you still want to buy a copy of the book, and I can sell you a paperback copy at cost; for $5 and shipping. Sorry for this confusion.

Luckily with your book being with IVP and not Zondervan/HarperCollins, it has a really good chance to be featured again on Amazon. Your publisher is letting the retailers set the prices, which means your book has a REALLY good chance to come up for sale again. And if you been watching whats been going on publishers like yours which have been letting the retailers set the prices have been having their books featured a crap ton on the major distributors such as Amazon.

So here’s for hoping your book comes up for sale soon. And BTW that’s a mighty fine offer you are offering folks to compensate for something that wasn’t your fault, but I am just going to wait for it to come back up for sale again that way it benefits everyone involved.
