Praise Report

A reader writes:

Please let your readers know how grateful I am for all their prayers for my wife. The surgery went well and she returned to work today. Best of all, no cancer was found.

Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!

I am Catholic, and will always be. At the same time, Catholic to me means having a world wide view, be open minded like Christ, listen, respect and love, obey as a mandate of love, but have a mind of my own. As such, I really admire Martin Luther King and his Reformation Movement. I find that he had the same guts that Christ had when he took a a couple of chains and cleared the House of God of all the money lenders and merchants that had loitered in the Temple. Our Church needs to have that kind of spirit, the spirit to do what is right with all our souls and all our minds. Loving God aboce all things, we, Catholics, too need to have the courage and Love to bring in change, to allow the Kingdom of God to take shape.

Our church has that spirit. I can’t say the same, after studying Martin Luther and the other “Reformers” lives, that they did.

Instead, I find that instead of clearing the House of God of the money lenders and merchants, they cleared the House of God of all the holy people and sold it into usury.

Proof of this is which denominations of Christianity still considers usury and contraception to be a sin. There are, sadly, only a handful- and they aren’t the Protestants.

P.S.- what does any of this have to do with a praise report about cured cancer?
