A reader asks for prayer, “especially with regards to my employment”.
Father, hear our prayer that this man find a good job at a just wage where he can serve you and his neighbor according to your will. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Another reader writes:
Thank you for the prayers re: my impending miscarriage. Unfortunately I lost the baby.
However, thanks to a courageous doctor who insisted on a review of medical literature, the recommendation to abort was reversed and my hematological patient is still pregnant! Please pray that she will be cured by the treatment, that she will be able to carry to 32 weeks, and that the child is healthy. This is the first “chemo-baby” for our department, so please also pray for courage and guidance for the doctors and nurses.
Father, grant eternal rest to my reader’s baby, consolation to my reader, and complete healing and a safe delivery to her patient. Thank you for the gift of life and that courageous doctor. Bless that doctor well for doing the right thing. Grant courage, wisdom, skill, compassion and guidance to all those caregivers. Give peace, grace, and strength to all who love the mother. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for all concerned. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
