Prayer Request

A reader writes:

I know you sometimes put prayer requests out.  Usually, I would not specifically request prayer for a protestant missionary (for mission purposes).  This is not such a request, Mark…She lives in a central American country, and her pre-teen son has been kidnapped. I know a wee bit more, but she’s requested friends to be vague about details.  Thanks, if you can pass it along.

Father, restore this boy safely to his family.  Give the police and all those working toward his rescue the wits and grace to find him and save him. Allow no harm to come to him. Mother Mary, pray for him.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

It is most unclear what the requesters believe about morality, they seem to be asking blessings for their uncharted life. Most strange is such requests are published
