Out of the mouths of Dems: “More ugly women in America than attractive women” May 23, 2016

Hillary Clinton spokesman and former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell gave his two cents as to why Donald Trump doesn’t have a chance to beat Clinton in the race for president: there are too many ugly women in America.

Seriously, he actually said that to The Washington Post:

“Will he have some appeal to working-class Dems in Levittown or Bristol? Sure. For every one he’ll lose 1½ , two Republican women. Trump’s comments like ‘You can’t be a 10 if you’re flat-chested,’ that’ll come back to haunt him. There are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women. People take that stuff personally.”

Speak for yourself, Ed. I think you just stepped in a hornet’s nest and you better believe your words are going to haunt you.

I’m left with the same question as Instapundit: “Why is the Democratic Party such a cesspit of misogyny?”

Apparently the left — those self-proclaimed guardians of objectification — gets to pick and choose what is offensive to say. And those standards don’t always apply to them.
