Chelsea Clinton, the scrappy leader of The Resistance, said this without laughing

This Variety interview with Chelsea Clinton is just nausea-inducing:

Does anyone remember when Variety asked Mitt Romney’s sons what lessons they learned from him after his dad’s loss to Barack Obama in 2012?  Me either.  But there’s some sort of public relations push that’s going on here we need to remember.

At the end of her interview — after she tells us about her baby, her newspaper reading habits, and so forth — she talks about her love of the musical Hamilton.  Listening to her say that we need to “rise up” like she’s some sort of down-on-her-luck single mom battling for her existence is just a little much.

I thought this tweet nailed it.
