No Commentary Necessary — “First Taste” Edition

This “First Taste” video (courtesy of TEDxSydney) is probably the best thing I’ve seen on YouTube since Alan Rickman’s Epic Tea Time. Take a moment or two, sit back, and watch it light up your Friday like the Fourth of July!YouTube Preview Image(Epic HT chain from Laughing Squid to Good Food to TEDxSidney’s YouTube channel)

About Joseph Susanka

Joseph has been doing development work for institutions of Catholic higher education since graduating from Thomas Aquinas College in 1999. A grateful resident of Wyoming, he spends his free time exploring the beautiful Wind River Mountains, keeping track of his (currently) seven sons, being amazed by his (currently) lone daughter, and thanking his lucky stars for Netflix.

    Why no candy or cookies?

I suspect those “first tastes” would produce slightly less hilarious results, Theodore. (Or maybe it’s just that everyone’s already had candy by that stage?)

I would expect that the results would still be hilarious- I loved the look on my son’s face when I introduced him to altoids- and chocolate chip cookies were pure heaven.

Ooooh. I’m with you on the Original Curiously Strong Mints. That would almost certainly be worth recording in Xtreme Slo-Mo. (I think that’s at least partially why the olive tasting is my favorite; I can’t tell if she likes them or not.)

The lemon one made me think of Robert McCloskey’s Lentil. And Old Sneep. Always a good association.
