A Lenten Musical Journey, Coda

A Lenten Musical Journey, Coda 2015-04-07T19:44:49-06:00

Looking back on my recently-completed musical adventure, I’m pleased. I feel like it did exactly what I wanted it to do: made my Lent both more meditative and more musical. I’m a bit surprised, though, at how much of it was Russian. And/or Polish. (I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Music is the one place — OK, the most obvious place — where my sorta-Eastern European roots force their way to the surface. Whether I want them to or not.)

All in all, I am well pleased. So pleased, in fact, that I’m going to have to come up with another musical series soon. I have a few ideas already

In the meantime, here’s a bit of Post-Easter Sunday-But-Still-Very-Much-Easter-Season Bach. Because seriously. Why not?
