50 days late and a dollar short…

… a women walked into my office wearing an obama t-shirt. When she left the young black lady sitting at my desk leaned in to confide …

“I voted for Obama but I just don’t know. All the stuff he’s coming up with now and the government taking over everything. Every black person knows the government isn’t going to do nothing for you. You can’t depend on the government to help you… we all saw that with hurricane Katrina.”

Interesting, but I can’t help musing where all this voter insight was November 4th.

It was shoved out of the way by “hope” and “change”. Now they’ll get a lesson in politics they won’t soon forget.

I wonder when some of my neighours and a few parishioners I know voted for his “HOPE” will admit they voted in a big devil of a boob.

Maybe if McCain and the Republicans had actually campaigned on limited government and the ways gov’t spending got us into the current mess… instead of being the ones who passed mountains of spending when they were in charge of Congress…
