Settling in…

… like any other moving day, you’ve stumbled upon me surrounded by moving boxes and in a state of disarray. Welcome to my new home! Make yourself at home while I unpack. For regular readers following me over from Blogger and new readers alike, I offer a hearty ‘Welcome’.

I am very excited about this new transition and once I figure out the nuances of Word Press things should be off quite swimmingly. In the meantime, pardon my hiccups and burps.

For new readers, I invite you to check out The Crescat, version 1.0, and peruse the archives. And those who’ve been with me since 2006, forever in interweb years, please don’t let your aversion to change drive you away or keep you from returning.  I promise, everything will be ok. Just have another a drink and take a deep breath.

Every other Friday I will write a feature column, More Than Mortal Beauty, which will talk about things I know… art, Southern fried Catholicism, things that drive me bat shit crazy (wink), love and the daily perils of actively seeking beauty in all the above.

I debuted my column with a post called ‘Shrews‘, a fleshed out version of a post I wrote some time ago on The Crescat 1.0. As you can see, there will still be spit and vinegar despite the change of address. Fears allayed.
