I really enjoyed this. What would make it even more interesting is something that is probably impossible in a public place: I would like to hear the daughters now comment on what they learned from interviewing their mothers. I want to hear a daughter say, for example, “I was surprised that my mother felt she had equal partnership in her marriage; it hadn’t seemed that way to me when I was growing up.” But I recognize this kind of thing would be difficult and potentially hurtful to do publicly.
