Are You Young? Then Come to the FOCUS Conference February 15-17

In a couple of weeks (February 15-17), I’ll be speaking on “Risking it All for Jesus as a Young Man or Woman” at the FOCUS conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. The theme of my talk is based on my new book Risky Gospel.

If you’re in junior high or high school or have kids this age, you should come. (Today is the last day to get the early-bird rate!) Here’s the event description:

FOCUS exists to aid local churches in producing disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ who will be radical in their faith and walk. This is accomplished through Christ-centered preaching that equips the next generation to know, love, and serve Christ.

Each year, the conference devotes its teaching to a truth that every believer must embrace if they are to live for the glory of God in the present and future. The theme for the 2014 conference is “The Mission.”

I’m excited to speak at this conference. Grammy-nominated rapper FLAME will be there, as will fellow speakers Ian McConnell and Adam Bailie. Lexington Road, a killer Boyce College band, will lead the music at the event. If you want to talk with me about what Boyce College is like, how to know Jesus, or what it’s like to have rapped with FLAME and been publicly embarrassed to the point of shame, I’ll be there and would love to chat.
