Annie’s Song

Annie’s Song May 1, 2014

“Annie’s Song” by John Denver,  is about sharing your love with another… we are here to share our lives with each other.  Today as I walked in the hot sun of Los Angeles, Annie’s Song kept flowing throw and it was teaching me about living here in the present. It is hard to describe, so we use metaphors, parables, Koans, and stories to help share how this feels to live freely here… Enjoy. Share your love with your lover, kids, friends, family, and humanity. It is easier to encourage than discourage.  Encourage is to be IN COURAGE and to discourage is to NOT HAVE COURAGE. It takes courage to live in your heart fully here.

Fill Up My Senses
Annie’s Song
by John Denver (1943-1997)

You fill up my senses
like a night in the forest
like the mountains in springtime,
like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.

Come let me love you,
let me give my life to you
let me drown in your laughter,
let me die in your arms
let me lay down beside you,
let me always be with you
come let me love you,
come love me again.

You fill up my senses
like a night in the forest
like the mountains in springtime,
like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.
