Roy Moore was a 32- year-old assistant district attorney when 14 year old Leigh Corfman says she met him at the courthouse while her parents were fighting over her custody in their divorce proceedings. She claims he lured her to a cabin, took off most of her clothing, and molested her.   Other women now claim that he dated them while they were teens as well.

When Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News Monday morning, she was supposed to be talking about the tax reform, but she made a concerted effort to emphasize that Alabama voters should still support the accused pedophile Moore.

“Doug Jones in Alabama, folks, don’t be fooled,” she said.  “He’ll be a vote against tax cuts.  He’s weak on crime, weak on the borders, strong on raising your taxes, he’s terrible for property owners…”

Host: “So, vote Roy Moore?”

Conway: “He’s a doctrinaire liberal which is why the media is trying to boost him.”

Host: “So, vote Roy Moore?”

Conway: “I’m telling you that we want the votes in the Senate to get this tax bill through.  If the media were really concerned about all these allegations, Al Franken would be on the ash heap of bygone, half-funny comedians. He wouldn’t be here on Capitol Hill.  He still has his job….”

Host: The RNC has withdrawn its support from Roy Moore.

Conway: Excuse me?

Host: The RNC has withdrawn its support from Roy Moore, Mitch McConnell has withdrawn his support from Roy Moore, so have the Young Republicans…

Female Host: And a lot of women.

Conway: [Pause.]  Right.  And you know what?  No one ever says the name Doug Jones. They pretend he’s some sort of conservative Democrat in Alabama, and he’s not.
