World’s Largest Gun Show Welcomes ‘Black Guns Matter’

Black Guns Matter has recently decided to sponsor the upcoming world’s largest gun show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group focuses on spreading the good news of the 2nd Amendment in “anti-gun” and “violence-prone cities.”  While many activist groups like “Black Lives Matter” tend to whine and complain about both real and imagined injustices, this group is empowering black Americans in cities to defend themselves.

Conservatives were happy at the announcement.  Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke tweeted, “Great to see BLACK GUNS MATTER as a sponsor of Shot Show. Education of BLACK YOUTH on respect, NOT FEAR of firearms can go a long way in reducing violence since many don’t realize, until after criminal charges, that a bullet once fired can’t be taken back.”

He also included a photo with his tweet:

John McNamara, NSSF senior director said, “The era of cultural divide when it comes to firearms ownership should be a thing of the past, and thanks to the work of Maj Toure and Black Guns Matter, we’re a lot closer to that being a realization.”

The SHOT Show will be held in Las Vegas, which — of course — was the site of a terrible mass shooting on October 1, 2017.  The location and the Black Guns Matter sponsorship will certainly draw a lot of attention and controversy to this gun show.
