Blunkett vows to 'nail' hooligan

Am I the only one who finds Blunketts interferences in the process of individual cases a little concerning?

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the

case of the holigan who escaped jail surely it is not right for a politician to pronounce he is trying to ‘nail’ someone is it? Whatever happened to the separation between the politicians and the judiciary? O yes, I forgot like many things we fudge that a bit over here.

Mind you, Blunket seems to make a habit of such interference having previously been investigated for possible contempt of court- talking of which we never heard what happened about that did we?
