Things seem to be escalating fast. Now, Republican member of Congress Troy Nehls has said that Trump is almost the second coming, and from the context it is clear he is referring to Jesus. See this video clip if you find this as unbelievable as I do.
I am pleased that many American Christians seem to be finally waking up to the cult of Trump, however, and rejecting comments like this. Many of them are acting like something major has changed in Trump and that, in their eyes, he is only now proving that he is not capable of carrying out the office of president of the United States.
This is not new, However.
Check out this video I found from back in 2019. In it Trump praised his own handling of the economy as god-like, then looked up into the sky and says “I am the chosen one.” The video then goes on to quote Trump reposting words which said that the Jewish people love him like he is the second coming of God.
How will America get out of the religious and political mess it has got into?
