Presidential Alert: “THIS IS A TEST”

“THIS IS A TEST”

Yesterday morning (October 3, 2018 ), per usual, I opened up Twitter and went straight to the “Moments” section – and, what immediately caught my eye was this:

My knee-jerk reaction was “Please, don’t.”

Because the last thing I want is Donald Trump texting me first thing in the morning.

But, after taking a step back and realizing that this was one of those “FEMA/presidential alerts” to test the “Wireless Emergency Alert System”… I even more so didn’t want our45th President of the United States to text me, yes, even in the case of an “emergency.”
