You’ve probably seen the articles and news stories announcing that Chip and Jo have decided that their current season of Fixer Upper will be their last. I have always admired them, but this announcement made me have tremendous respect for them (even though I was super sad that there wouldn’t be any new Fixer Upper episodes). In a world that often defines success as having your face on a screen, making lots of money, and being well-liked and well-known, it’s so refreshing to see a successful couple live out the truth that all the success in the world isn’t worth sacrificing your marriage and family. They decided to hold the show and fame loosely, but hold onto each other tightly.
