Free Tool: Find Wisdom When You Need It

Free Tool: Find Wisdom When You Need It July 25, 2022

So much of my spirituality is connected to the teachings of the mystics and elders who have gone before us. Back when I lived in Seattle, it wasn’t abnormal for me to ride the bus with my head deep in the words of Teresa of Ávila or Howard Thurman. Their stories and analogies helped give color and understanding to my experiences.

In other words, they acted as guides for me in the midst of my own confusions, wonderings, and wanderings.

Because of this, I’ve created a free tool (below) for you to use and hopefully you might find resonance with some of these teachings as well.

Wisdom for the Moment

Here’s how it works:

  1. Once you click “begin,” it’ll lead you through a series of five quick questions. These will be about your current emotions and what you feel you need for support.
  2. After answering these questions, it will produce two poems, questions, songs, or passages from wisdom teachers – specifically tailored to what might resonate with how you’re feeling and who you are. It takes your answers, analyzes them, and then spits out what it thinks you might connect with.
  3. When it does this, I recommend you take some time with the teachings. Read them, go for a walk, meditate, pray, do some stretches: whatever it is that you feel you need to do.

I hope it helps you, whoever and wherever you are! If it does bring a new insight up from within you, I’d love to hear from you. You can contact me through my website, https://www.andrewglang.com.
