Jeremy Renner is the awesome archer Hawkeye in The Avengers movies, but that doesn’t mean he’s not handy with a firearm. Not only is he an advocate for owning guns, he also wants to teach children proper gun safety to help prevent gun violence.

“Taking guns from people is no answer,” Renner said after the tragedy at Sandy Hook. “I own guns and want to keep it that way. But guns don’t kill people… people kill people. Blaming movies or video games is no actionable solution.”
