2. Enrollment is way down at the University of Missouri

The Black Lives Matter movement was certainly a noisy bunch again this year, and that stirred up a whole host of problems, not just for the NFL but also for the University of Missouri. Thanks to the Mizzou campus being a hotbed for BLM protests, hunger strikes, and all sorts of triggered temper tantrums over the last couple of years, nobody wants to attend school there anymore.

Freshmen enrollment for the fall of 2016 was down nearly 3,000 students, which is really bad for the budget:

For every 100 fewer Missouri undergraduate students who are on campus, the university loses $1 million in tuition revenue. That rises to $2.5 million for 100 fewer undergraduates from outside the state.
