4. The failed takedown of the Christian couple on HGTV’s Fixer Upper
In a *shocking* turn of events in 2016, Christians go to churches that preach homosexuality is a sin.
Why is anybody surprised by this? Yet, liberals were outraged that the adorable and insanely popular design couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s Fixer Upper, attend a church in Texas that preaches the Bible. BuzzFeed and Cosmopolitan tried to launch a takedown campaign against them, demanding to know if they agreed with their pastor on same-sex marriage.
But the Gaines’s didn’t take the bait and good for them! You know what they did do? They went to church, and their show is still on the air:
