This resurfaced Lena Dunham tweet proves she needs to just shut up already

Lena Dunham: the name doesn’t conjure up visions of a great actress like I’m sure she would like it to. Instead, all we can picture is a loud-mouthed liberal who prefers appearing without her clothes, wished she had an abortion, and rants about vile things on Twitter. Enough! She needs to just shut up already.

Though there are plenty of examples why she might need to take a break from public speaking, one resurfaced tweet from 2010 is the final nail in the coffin. Here it is:

When did people forget the art of keeping some things to themselves?

And this is the same woman who wrote about molesting her little sister in her autobiography. Does she really need to be a voice for feminism? Wasn’t there a time not too long ago in America when people who obsessed about molestation didn’t get famous?

So, here she is calling African-Americans “rodents” and then in 2011, she makes another racist joke:

But wait, she’s just being “edgy,” right? After all, she’s a “powerful” female comedienne.
