I love the Second Amendment, but I love grannies who love the Second Amendment even more!
Rebbie Roberson is 74 years old and lives in her Bowie County, East Texas home that she protects with a .38-caliber revolver. That came in very handy one night when a masked intruder broke into her house during the evening news and shoved a gun in her face.
“And when I started to get up, he was in here on me with a gun facing me right to my face,” Roberson said.
Somehow, she was able to calmly walk over to the table and get her gun, according to ABC News. (Let’s face it, some criminals are just that dumb.)
“So I had to walk right out in front of him,” she said. “I didn’t know if he was going to kill me or what. I reached over there and grabbed this gun. And when I swerved around, I pointed it at him, and he ran.”
She fired several shots which left her home riddled with bullet holes.
“I’m not sure I didn’t hit him,” said Roberson. “I don’t know yet.” (She didn’t but, Go, Grandma!)
“I sure tried,” she added. “I sure was hoping. That was the scare of my life.”
Well, one thing’s for sure, that robber won’t be back. He messed with a Texas granny, and everyone knows you don’t do that!
