Some Amazingly Inspirational Moments From Houston

Some Amazingly Inspirational Moments From Houston August 29, 2017

I have been watching Houston from a very safe distance, but my heart is hurting for the people being flooded.  One of the best things about the flood, however, is seeing the fantastic stories of heroism and actual joy coming from the darkest of moments.

I thought you’d like to see some of them too:

Check out this grandma being rescued by a man on a jetski:

And, then there’s this amazing photo of being in boats.

Plus, the Waco Police Department posted this photo a little girl wrote her police officer Dad before he went out to help the victims:

A little girl’s inspiring note to her police officer dad as he heads out to help Harvey victims.

“Dear Daddy, I hope you don’t get hurt, but I hope you help other people that need it more than you do,” she wrote. “I hope no one gets hurt more. I hope everyone gets away the hurricane. I love you!”

How touching that a little kid realizes what is at stake!

Then, did you see the “dog rescuers?”

And did you see these bread makers who got stuck in the store, so they made food for victims?

And I can’t tell you how much I love this guy:

And then there are these guys drinking out of a flash on national tv:

And then, there’s this:

And — lastly — this one:

We love you, Houston — thank you for inspiring us this week.
