A white professor went to a Harlem restaurant to grab a burger, and all he wanted to do was eat in peace. Oh, and he didn’t want to see any other white people. Especially white children, who are — according to his social media — the worst! The Daily Wire has the details:
Rutgers University Professor James Livingston posted a racist rant against white children who were dining at New York City’s Harlem Shake restaurant. The history professor, using the dining establishment’s name in his social media posts, called the patrons “little Caucasian a**holes who know their parents will approve of anything they do” and officially resigned himself from the white race.
Though some of his rant has been removed from Facebook for violating their racism policies, here’s what we know he posted:
“OK, officially, I now hate white people,” he posted last week. “I am a white people, for God’s sake, but can we keep them — us — us out of my neighborhood? I just went to Harlem Shake on 124 and Lenox for a Classic burger to go, that would [be] my dinner, and the place is overrun with little Caucasian a**holes who know their parents will approve of anything they do.
“Slide around the floor, you little s**thead, sing loudly, you moron. Do what you want, nobody here is gonna restrict your right to be white,” Livingston wrote, before adding his official resignation from the white race: “I hereby resign from my race. F*** these people. … Yeah, I know, it’s about access to my dinner. F*** you, too.”
Oooookay.
The owners of the diner were not impressed by his racist rant. Establishment founder Jelena Pasic and partner Dardra Coaxum blasted the professor, telling him to get “burgers somewhere else” and to stop using the name of their restaurant in his mean posts. They made this clear on a social media post to Instagram:
“Even the coolest cats in Harlem know that for the past five years and counting, Harlem Shake has been and continues to be an active member of the diverse and evolving Harlem community and beyond. We proudly have diverse ownership, staff and most importantly, customers! Every day we serve men women and children from across the globe and mostly from our beloved Harlem community. Thank you Harlem for being our home and we are proud to serve you all! #HarlemShakeNyc #Harlem#Uptown #Inclusion #Community #Support#YourFavoriteBurgerJoint #burgers #shakes#goodtimes #ownership #ketchup #mustard#love””
Aren’t they the cutest! Look at their adorable photo:
I love this!
This makes me want to go to Harlem just to taste one of their burgers. I bet it tastes like equality.
