ANN ARBOR, MI – In a stunning turn of events, an online theological debate has actually ended with one side conceding that the other position was correct. Commenters in the in the public internet forum were stunned and remained oddly silent for an about hour after the debate ended.

“I didn’t know what to say or think. It was like a miracle had fallen upon our group” stated one observer in the forum.”

“Since the dawn of the internet nothing like this has never happened.” said another.

The loser of the debate, who wished to remain anonymous, is reported to have deleted his Facebook profile, twitter handle and Instagram. Authorities have been contacted and he is being investigated for the suspicious behavior.

A family member close to the situation expressed disappointment in the turn of events. “He was taught better than this.”

Facebook, the medium of the online debate, actually took notice of the sudden lack of activity and made it a point to check that their servers were working correctly. They confirmed there was no technical reason for the activity drop.
