DA Carson’s new Collected Writings on Scripture

I just stumbled across the Amazon page for D.A. Carson’s Collected Writings on Scripture (due July 31, 2010). While there are some things with which I disagree in his work, I have always appreciated his overall method and especially his commentary on John.

In this collection you will find five essays and nine book reviews. The essays cover such issues as hermeneutics, doctrine of Scripture, unity and diversity in the NT, and redaction criticism. This book will come from Crossway Books.

While I am willing to pick this book up and give it a read, and wanting to learn from Carson, I am a bit skeptical about the book given some of the endorsers who were chosen.
