Reminder of IBR OT/NT session on Friday Nov 16 – book your flight to arrive early!

As folks are booking flights for SBL, I wanted to remind you of our new IBR working group on “The Relationship Between the Old Testament and the New Testament” which will meet officially for the first time this year on Friday Nov 16 from 4-6PM. Our specific subject of study involves the question of how later parts of the Old Testament use and are influenced by earlier parts of the Old Testament, and also what this may mean for how the NT writers use the OT. Presenters include Sheri Klouda, Peter Enns, Darrell Bock, and Bruce Fisk. We will have lots of time for good discussion and our subject will carry over into next year.

We welcome anyone to our session who is interested in this topic. Please do book your flight or travel arrangements keeping in mind that we begin at 4PM on Friday.
