Does the British New Testament Society have members???

A friend and I had a discussion of whether or not it is legitamate to list oneself on a CV as a ‘member’ of the British New Testament Society.  My friend argued that this is inappropriate since there is no such thing as ‘membership’ and the Society is simply an organization that puts on a conference.  I had put it on my CV because I had seen others do that (who are British!).  So, here is a question to anyone and everyone out there who does NT in the UK or who has been to a BNTS conference in the past (or who is on their email list).  Would you consider yourself a ‘member’ of the British New Testament Society?  Does the BNTS have members?
