12 Simple Ways to Make Your Spouse Smile

Every time I see Ashley smile, it makes me smile. Her smile can light up the room and make even the dreariest of days seem a lot brighter! Her smile was the first trait that attracted me to her and it’s still just as captivating today as it was on that first day.

In the early stages of a relationship, most of us tend to be creative, thoughtful, romantic and consistent with our efforts to bring a smile to each other’s faces, but as the years go by, we can sometimes get out of the habit and slip into cruise control. 1. Smile (Seriously, when you smile, it’s going to be much easier to make them smile).

2. Turn the TV on mute and make up your own dialogue for what you think the characters are saying.

3. Change the lyrics to songs on the radio to be about your spouse.

4. Speak to each other in a fake, foreign accent in public and see if anyone notices.

5. Write each other love notes and leave them hidden around the house.
