Jimmy Kimmel, Catholic

Jimmy Kimmel, Catholic April 1, 2013

And he’s planning a wedding for this summer:

Jimmy Kimmel will marry his fiancée, Molly McNearney, in the first week of July, Page Six can reveal. The talk-show host, who proposed to his longtime girlfriend last August, has sent out save-the-date cards for the ceremony, which we are told will be on the weekend after July 4.

Additional details:

When Kimmel and his Jimmy Kimmel Live co-head writer fiancee do walk down the aisle, their fete will be an intimate one, according to the late night host. “It’ll be mostly a family affair and there will be a Catholic priest officiating,” hints Kimmel, who has dated McNearney since 2009. (He has two children with his first wife, Gina, whom he divorced in 2002 after 14 years of marriage.)

And Beliefnet has this tantalizing tidbit:

A New York native, young Jimmy served as an altar boy in the church. As an adult he still values his religion, and goes to mass as often as he can.

Further proof that it really is a big church.
