Gloomy Glenn Beck is back again. It’s too late, the die is cast, nothing but doom awaits, as he predicted (he predicts everything, of course). So it’s time for all good “patriots” to pack up their stuff and move to Texas before they close the northern border.
Sometimes I wonder if Glenn Beck even bothers to listen to himself or if his mouth just goes on cruise control. In his latest WTF pronouncement, he said that he and other right-wingers are the real civil rights leaders, not “clowns” like John Lewis.
Glenn Beck has once again reached back into the dark recesses of that fever swamp between his ears and retrieved a bizarre prediction that he claims he’s been repeating for years (because he’s never wrong, you know — except when he is, which is often). If God doesn’t destroy us, he says, we’ll become worse than Hitler.
Glenn Beck has hypocrisy down to an art form. He’s going after one of the far-right Christian pastors who wants gay people put to death and even mentions the conference that Kevin Swanson put on at which he advocated exactly that, but without mentioning that his buddy Ted Cruz spoke there.
This is a highly amusing video of Glenn Beck delivering a very weird diatribe about how he’s working on “revolutionary” things but he can’t take his eye off them for a second. Just like God couldn’t take his eye off the ball while parting the Red Sea. Or something.
Glenn Beck had Paul Blair, one of the most extreme of the wingnuts in Oklahoma, on his TV show and Blair made the absolutely bizarre declaration that ancient Israel in the Bible was a “constitutional republic.” He clearly has no idea what that phrase means at all.
Daniel Lapin, the Christian right’s favorite wingnut rabbi, went on Glenn Beck’s show and tried to talk him into supporting Donald Trump even though he admits that Trump is pretty much a terrible human being. But he isn’t Hillary Clinton, so God wants Beck to vote for him.
Apparently Glenn Beck is on the upswing again. After repeatedly declaring that if Ted Cruz was not elected, America was done for, he’s caught his second wind and come up with a new plan to save the country. And in true Austin Powers fashion, his plan is to soil himself, then come up with a new plan with help from some friends.
Glenn Beck offers the classic slippery slope argument that gay rights —> trans rights —> pedophile rights. He offers no analysis for this, just a “guarantee” that it’s going to happen. Because what do you need to make such an argument other than pure speculation?
Poor Glenn Beck. The fact that his BFF Ted Cruz, aka the Next George Washington #5 (6?), lost his campaign to be the Republican presidential nominee has him really forlorn. He told a studio audience that America is now gone forever and he wishes they could go start a new country of their own without all those evil liberals.
Early last year, Glenn Beck declared that he was done with the Republican party forever. Then he developed a crush on Ted Cruz, his latest “next George Washington,” and came back. Then when Cruz dropped out, he said he was done with the GOP forever. And then a week later, reiterated it. But it was all a big misunderstanding.
