The terrorists included two UK-born Pakistanis and one was a Yemeni national. They were heavily drugged and used Blackberry to communicate. The group numbering 12 travelled from Rawalpindi to Karachi and them from Karachi to Mumbai.
The Anti-terrorism squad (ATS) now believes that Dawood Ibrahim was involved in this attack as well.
