Gilani praises Singh and uses India's Balochistan faux-pas

As expected, the Joint Statement was not even worth the paper written on, as far as commitment from Pakistan was concerned.

Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani came back home and in his first press conference used the reference to Balochistan to make his case against India. He said:

” (Joint Statement) underlines our concerns over India’s interference in Balochistan and other areas of Pakistan”

He also praised Dr. Singh for his “political sagacity” and “statesmanship”… which is obvious why… 🙂
