– Indian News Sites: Rank Bad!!

The top four Indian News sites are decidedly the most lousiest sites to visit! They have so many pop-ups embedded in them and so much of advertising that its impossible to read any thing. In order of worse to bad is:

1. Hindustan Times
2. Times of India
3. Sulekha
4. Rediff.

Once upon a time, Rediff used to be my favorite .. no more. They changed their entire design long back – some 2-3 years back and totally messed it up!

Most of these rely on the sophistry of the Indian IT folks – but would someone teach them the basic rules of communication and design???

I feel there is a crying need for a news site on Indian issues to come up that is clean and nice and pleasing to read.
